In her previous position as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Branding, Zinat spearheaded the high-profile revival of the Lone Star Showdown with Cotton as the Title Sponsor, elevating brand visibility, igniting statewide fan engagement and driving new partnership opportunities. Throughout her 9-year career with Cotton Holdings, she helped strengthen impactful brand partnerships with industry-leading organizations, including the Houston Astros, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, Texas A&M University and the University of Texas.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with degrees in Communications and Business, Zinat brings a proven record of leading strategic communication initiatives across diverse sectors and driving brand growth and organizational impact.

Zinat Ahmed has been an integral part of the Cotton Holdings team for over six years. As Executive Vice President of Marketing & Branding, Mrs. Ahmed leads a team of strategic and creative thinkers in digital, traditional, event marketing, and merchandising. Driven by Cotton’s core values and mission, Ahmed’s focus is on increasing brand awareness for each Cotton subsidiary and driving new leads through online advertising and field marketing. During a global disaster, Mrs. Ahmed is at the forefront, working with leadership to design and deliver materials that effectively communicate Cotton’s services and help the team generate new leads. Her ability to think innovatively and her drive for continuous improvement empowers Mrs. Ahmed’s team to create marketing strategies and communications that resonate with each division’s target audience and help grow market share.

Mrs. Ahmed is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with degrees in Communications and Business. Prior to joining Cotton, she helped implement communication strategies for businesses across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Editorial, Social Media, Information Technology, Construction, and Oil & Gas. Her specialties include the development of marketing strategies, budget planning, and brand management.
