Director of Quality Assurance

Ciara Gerick joined Cotton Holdings in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Quality Assurance. With 7 years of experience in quality assurance across culinary, logistics and construction, she leads initiatives to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence across the company’s diverse portfolio. Gerick is responsible for developing and implementing Quality Assurance (QA) strategies that align with organizational goals at both the operational and corporate levels. She oversees the Quality Assurance and Licensing & Permitting Divisions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold industry standards and drive continuous improvement.

Before assuming her current role, Gerick held key positions within Cotton Holdings, including Quality Assurance Manager for Culinary and Logistics, before transitioning to the Holdings team in 2021. Her hands-on experience includes high-profile emergency response and infrastructure projects, such as Hurricane Laura emergency camps and other humanitarian and refugee camp initiatives. Gerick also helped ensure QA and compliance during major disaster relief efforts, including Hurricanes Michael, Laura, Delta, Zeta, Ida, Ian and Idalia.

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Gerick moved to Katy, Texas where she grew up and currently resides. Gerick holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Animal Science with a Minor in Agricultural Economics, along with a Certificate in Meat Science and HACCP Certification.
