The spirit of competition is alive and well in Texas. After a historic comeback year in 2024, Cotton Holdings proudly continues the legacy of the Lone Star Showdown, reigniting the fierce rivalry between the Texas A&M Aggies and the Texas Longhorns as the title sponsor.

This year, the rivalry will continue, ready to make 2025 even bigger. The series kicked off with a heated soccer match on October 2, followed by volleyball games and men’s and women’s cross-country meets later in the month.

But the real countdown is on for November 28, when all eyes turn to Austin for the second annual football faceoff at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. From the tailgate to the final match, the rivalry continues and so does the fight for Texas pride.
