Cotton Success was a Virtual Success
If 2020 taught us anything, it was to expect the unexpected. Even so, it wasn’t easy to accept that we couldn’t all gather for Cotton Success as we’ve done for the past 24 years. Although it might not be the same, we still found a way to celebrate our work of 2020 and plan for the future through a 3-part virtual series.
James Scaife, President of Cotton GDS, opened up the series by celebrating a couple of 10-Year and 20-Year anniversaries and thanked each person for their great work throughout the years. We look forward to their continued success as well as that of our entire Cotton Team.
During Part II of the series, the presidents and respective leaders of each subsidiary spoke about significant achievements and the goals each has for their divisions. To cap it off, COO Randall Thompson closed it out with a keynote speech, addressing his expectations for Cotton Holdings in 2021.
With the future on our minds, in Part III, we’ll be hearing from Chief Information Officer, Ron Veillon, as he addresses his vision for the company. Ron’s extensive background in IT will drive a lot of the growth Cotton is aiming for and will help us be more efficient in supporting our clients.
The Cotton Team worked diligently throughout 2020 to provide crucial restoration, logistical, and catering services to businesses around the country. We also expanded our services to provide better support for our clients in the medical and environmental industries. Our vision for 2021 is to broaden our success from last year and we’re committed more than ever to our mission of helping businesses around the world recover from disasters.
Despite meeting virtually due to current circumstances, we’ve had a great turnout and appreciate everyone for their active participation. The Cotton Team is ready to run in ‘21!
