Derek Clark brings to Cotton a 17-year successful track-record of delivering world-class sales operating structures, go-to-market commercial initiatives, and driving continuous year-over-year growth. Most recently, he led the Sales Process and Technology transformation of Honeywell’s Building Technology division where he brought together over two dozen disparate acquisitions under one common set of sales principles & processes, operating on a single standard technology platform. Prior to that, he also held various commercial positions at General Electric-Power Services. where he grew from an Inside Sales Representative, in a recently acquired business, to the Director of Sales Operations for the entire Power Services portfolio.

As Senior Vice President of Sales – Operations and Strategy, Clark will oversee the establishment of a world class Sales Operations function. Here his responsibilities include evolving current practices to maximize the productivity of our sellers, expanding market penetration, and enabling the expansion of Cotton’s operational excellence across our organization and into our acquisition companies.

Clark earned his bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Rockhurst University.
