1. What is your role on the Cotton Team? What are 3 words you would use to describe it?
My role at Cotton is Vice President of Human Resources. Together with a team of HR Leaders, we focus on aligning HR strategies with business goals, managing talent and fostering a positive culture. Three words I would use to describe the role are “strategic,” “empathic” and “leadership.”
2. Where is your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world is anywhere on a beach with my family and friends, making memories. The Emerald Coast is where we have shared many memories throughout the years.
3. What does “Cottonuity” mean to you?
To me, "Cottonuity" means "one company, one team." What we provide to our clients is a service that promotes efficiency with one company that can offer all solutions to bring a business back to its pre-emergency state. For our employees, it means "family" — with the resources and support from the Cotton Team, you can meet and exceed your professional goals with hard work and dedication.
4. How does Cotton go above and beyond for our clients?
Cotton creates and builds relationships. Our clients become part of the Cotton community, which we are all proud to be a part of. "No" is not part of Cotton's vocabulary and we will find a way to meet and exceed our client expectations with strong customer service and high-quality performance. We give back to the community through our Cotton Foundation and create partnerships that support Cotton's Core Values of integrity, honesty, high standards and high-quality work performance.
5. Tell us something about yourself that might surprise us!
Our home is known to family and friends as "Party Central" and I'm told I should have been a mixologist. No one is allowed behind the bar but me (unless you have special permission) and my tip jar is always full.
