COTTON NIGHT AT THE BALLPARK: A VICTORY ON AND OFF THE FIELD
Cotton Night at the Astros Ballpark was nothing short of a home run for Cotton Foundation! On Wednesday night at Daikin Park on August 13, 2025, fans gathered to watch the Houston Astros defeat the Boston Red Sox in a thrilling 4-1 victory — and for the Cotton team, it was to celebrate a cause close to our hearts.
The evening kicked off with Taylor Odum — the inspiration behind Taylor’s Place — delivering a memorable ceremonial first pitch, setting the tone for a night filled with energy, unity and purpose. Seeing so many of you show up and show out for Cotton Night at the Ballpark meant the world to us. Your support reminds us that we’re stronger when we stand together.
A Night for Hope
Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, the Astros Foundation’s Share2Care 50/50 Raffle made a meaningful impact by advancing the mission of Taylor’s Place. To every fan who believed in the cause and donated to the raffle: you turned game-day excitement into real-world change for families in need. Together, we’re making strides toward a peaceful retreat where families facing terminal illness can find peace, comfort, and time with their loved ones.
About Taylor’s Place
Taylor’s Place is more than just a project — it’s a promise. Inspired by the legacy of our dear colleague and friend, Tom Wallace, who bravely battled cancer, this countryside retreat was born from his wish to spend meaningful time with his daughter, Taylor. His dream is now becoming reality, offering families a sanctuary of rest and togetherness during life’s most difficult times.
