A Night to Remember: CrawFest 2026 Raised More than $1 Million!

Something special happened at CrawFest 2026, and it was made possible by 1,500 of our guests and sponsors who showed up with generosity and heart.

This year, together, we raised more than $1 million in support of Cotton Foundation.

As Pete Bell, our Founder and Chairman of Cotton Holdings, put it, “CrawFest is a celebration of community at its core. This was an opportunity to thank our donors, and it was incredibly moving to see so many people fully embrace the cause. The emotion in the room was palpable because everyone understands we have something truly special in Taylor’s Place — a place where families can simply be a family during some of life’s most difficult moments.”

Set against the backdrop of Cotton Ranch in Katy, the evening brought the Houston community together for great food, live entertainment and a shared purpose of serving communities in need. From the crawfish boil and lively auctions to the final confetti-filled celebration, the energy at the event was palpable. Cotton Culinary cooked up thousands of pounds of spicy crawfish with the fixings, paired with other Cajun favorites like chicken and sausage jambalaya, seafood fritters, crawfish hand pies and more! The bar remained lively throughout the evening, serving a steady flow of beer, wine and specialty cocktails.

But what made the night truly powerful was the “why” behind it all.

Taylor’s Place was inspired by the life and legacy of Tom Wallace — a Cotton friend and team member. Cotton Foundation established this haven for families facing terminal illnesses in his memory, honoring Tom’s commitment to giving back to the community and building lasting bonds between people. The evening was especially meaningful with the attendance of Taylor Odum, the namesake of Taylor’s Place. Her presence heightened the deeply personal mission behind the meaningful sanctuary.

What followed was an energetic live auction, revealing a dynamic lineup of auction items such as an exclusive Houston Astros package with premium dugout tickets and Gallagher Club passes, a jersey and tickets to a Houston Texans’ game as well as a meet-and-greet with C.J. Stroud, a three-night stay at the Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort & Spa and a luxurious guided hunt at High Cotton Founders Ranch and more. The evening concluded with a surprise reveal from Pinto Ranch: an Hermés Birkin bag, which served as the final showstopping moment of the night.

Reaching the $1 million mark was one of the biggest milestones for Cotton Foundation. The mission doesn’t stop here though. Every dollar will go directly toward advancing the Foundation’s mission of serving families in need, including the continued development of Taylor’s Place as it prepares to open its doors as well as other community initiatives. If you’d like to continue being part of this impact, we invite you to support us at Cotton Foundation. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps bring hope, relief and meaningful moments to those who need it most.
